Restorative Justice Volunteer Facilitators needed in Parry Sound and Sundridge!

Volunteers facilitate the Restorative Justice Conferences between victims and youth. Volunteers encourage and support dialogue between conference participants and assist the Youth Justice Committee Coordinator in  developing extrajudicial measures/sanctions. YJC Volunteer poster

We’re looking for Individuals with:

  • Cultural sensitivity

  • Active listening skills
  • Great communication skills

Interested in joining us?

The Youth Justice Committee provides an opportunity for those harmed by a young person, and their community, to deal with minor,  non-violent offences committed by youth (12 to 17) who are willing to take responsibility for their actions.
