Clinical Supervisor – Autism Services

Position Summary:

Hands TheFamilyHelpNetwork.ca is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for its Autism Services team.  The successful candidate reports to the Senior Manager of Autism Services.  S/he provides administrative and clinical leadership, oversight and direction to Autism Services employees, in collaboration with a leadership team.


Additional responsibilities include:

  • Ensure principles and practices of Applied Behavioral Analysis are inherent in all treatment programs for children with Autism, while working within a family-centered model
  • Leading evidence-based programming to ensure standards of practice are met according to Ministry standards
  • Liaising with internal and external partners to ensure services are collaborative and integrated
  • Supporting an excellent client/family experience

Hours Of Work:

Permanent full-time (35 hours per week); May be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Hourly Rate/Salary:

Minimum $37.38 to maximum $46.45 per hour

Salary commensurate with education and experience


  • Master’s degree in an appropriate regulated health profession (e.g., Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Speech-Language Therapy)
  • Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) (or working towards)
  • 3000 hours (approximately 2.5 years) of clinical work experience in ABA programming for individuals with Autism
  • 1500 hours (approximately 1.5 year) demonstrated post certification supervisory experience (or working towards)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to use a variety computer software
  • A valid Ontario driver’s licence and use of a reliable motor vehicle
  • Ability to be insured under the Agency’s vehicle insurance policy
  • Clear Criminal Record Check, including vulnerable sector search
  • Travelling required across the NE region
  • Preference will be given to bilingual (French/English) candidates
