Senior Manager – Clinical Practice Lead (long term contract)

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager-Clinical Practice Lead will provide leadership to Hands’ clinical programs beginning
with child and youth mental health, prioritizing clinical initiatives, based on research, best practice and
peer review, and supported by a change management process for implementation.
Key areas of responsibility include: organizational and performance planning and management; systems
and committee oversight and improvement; corporate communications; data management and
decision support; quality research and evaluation; risk management; change practices and
organizational capacity; leadership in accreditation; privacy; cost management; ensuring compliance
with all relevant professional standards, Ministry requirements, legislation and legal requirements. This
position requires travel.

Hours Of Work:

Full-time contract (35 hours per week) ending March 31, 2022, with possibility of extension

Location:

North Bay, ON
Parry Sound, ON

Hourly Rate/Salary:

Minimum $39.06 to maximum $49.44 per hour; salary commensurate with
education and experience

Qualifications:

• Master’s level degree in a field related to the position;
• Current registration with one of the following professional colleges: OCSWSSW with RSW or
MSW designation, COTO, CPSO, CNO, CPO, or CRPO;
• Minimum five (5) years clinical experience and demonstrated management/supervisory
experience;
• Strong leadership skills and proven capacity to deliver results;
• Strong knowledge of the principles, best practices, trends and issues related to project and risk
management, change practices, partnerships and partner engagement, data management and
decision support
• Demonstrated strategic and operational planning experience
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in social services and/or health care, public sector and/or non-profit experience
would be considered an asset
• A valid Ontario driver’s license and use of a reliable motor vehicle;
• Clear Criminal Record Check, including vulnerable sector search;
• Preference will be given to bilingual (French/English) candidates.
