Position Summary
The Child and Family Therapist will provide client-centered assessments, treatment, and counselling to individuals, families, and groups on both a brief and long-term basis. Using an integrated and collaborative approach, the Child and Family Therapist will provide clinical leadership to coordinate an overall treatment plan in a multi-disciplinary context.

Full-time contract (35 hours per week) ending May 23, 2024, with possibility of extension
Location

Hourly Rate/Salary
Minimum $34.77 to maximum $42.30 per hour; salary commensurate with education and experience

Qualifications
- Four (4) year Bachelor degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, or an undergraduate degree that allows the graduate to perform the controlled act of psychotherapy, with appropriate registration
- Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
- Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience
- Experience working with children, youth, and families
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated knowledge of a full range of psychotherapeutic and assessment techniques to assess, plan, coordinate and implement specific clinical protocols
- Proficient software skills using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook)
- Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety, with a willingness to contribute and lead in the culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events for clients and their families/caregivers, colleagues, other community members and yourself
- Demonstrates professionalism in dealing with highly confidential information and situations
- Successful applicants will be required to provide:
- Proof of eligibility to work in Canada
- A valid Ontario driver’s licence and use of a reliable motor vehicle; insurability on Agency vehicle insurance policy
- Clear Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search
- Preference will be given to bilingual (French/English) candidates
