Position Summary
The Facilities Coordinator will administer, coordinate, and report on the maintenance of owned and leased agency properties and vehicles to ensure a safe and healthy environment for employees, clients, and visitors. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining maintenance plans and schedules, and ensuring compliance with associated legal, legislative, regulatory and Agency safety regulations and maintenance standards. They will source and coordinate with external vendors/contractors to ensure maintenance requirements are met. They will be a member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) and are responsible to ensure approved committee recommendations relating to Facilities are implemented.

Permanent full-time (35 hours per week)

Hourly Rate/Salary
Minimum $23.30 to maximum $28.35 per hour; salary commensurate with education and experience

Qualifications
- College diploma in Building/Property Management, or relevant education
- Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience
- Good understanding of the Ontario Building Code, HVAC, and strong project management skills
- General skill and confidence to complete minor maintenance and repairs
- Solid knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and demonstrated commitment to Health and Safety
- Proficient software skills using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook)
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety, with a willingness to contribute and lead in the culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events for clients and their families/caregivers, colleagues, other community members and yourself
- Demonstrates professionalism in dealing with highly confidential information and situations
- Successful applicants will be required to provide:
- Proof of eligibility to work in Canada
- A valid Ontario driver’s licence and use of a reliable motor vehicle; insurability on Agency vehicle insurance policy
- Clear Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search
- Preference will be given to bilingual (French/English) candidates
