Diagnostics

Our psychology team can help diagnose your child/youth if needed. We use detailed psychological assessment tools to help you understand your child’s unique strengths and needs.

This service is only available through a referral from a community partner.

Individualized Behaviour Therapy (ABA/IBI)

Individualized Behaviour Therapy helps your child/youth set goals and meet their needs. It supports building new skills, enhancing delayed skills, or minimizing challenging behaviours. We are flexible, and tailor our approach to therapy depending on the child or youth we’re working with.

First, we work to understand your child/youth’s current skills and challenges. Then we create a personalized behaviour intervention plan that meets the needs of the child/youth and the family as a whole.

Every child/youth starts therapy with an assessment to determine current skills level. Then, we will create a personalized and flexible treatment plan to meet the needs of the child/youth.

When can I start Individualized Behaviour Therapy?

Start dates are ongoing.

As of September 2021, we have immediate openings for all ages in school, home, community, or centre settings at the following locations:

  • Sturgeon Falls

  • Expressing and understanding language
  • Social skills
