Summer Office Hours

During the summer months, Hands’ offices will be following modified hours. Hands’ summer hours start Tuesday, July 2, 2019 and are in effect up to and including Friday, August 30, 2019.

Please see the Summer Hours below for each office location:

Walk-In Counselling Clinics

Hands TheFamilyHelpNetwork.ca’s weekly Walk-In Counselling Clinics continue throughout the summer months, with a modified schedule in North Bay only.

Visitors to Hands’ Walk-In Clinics will meet with a Child and Family Therapist for a single session (approximately one hour) to address the child or youth’s mental health concern.

Crisis Supports

The Mental Health Crisis Line is available 24/7 throughout the summer. The confidential Mental Health Crisis Line for children and youth, their families, caregivers and service providers, can be reached at 1.844.287.9072.

Hands’ Crisis Services are available daily until 9:00 pm throughout the summer, with the exception of the statutory holidays (July 1st and August 5th). Crisis Services offer immediate, time-limited supports for children and youth who are experiencing a mental health crisis.

Autism Virtual Consultations

Hands TheFamilyHelpNetwork.ca continues to offer free Virtual Autism Consultations for children, youth and families across Northern Ontario throughout the summer.

Hands’ Virtual Autism Consultations are available for free, every Tuesday until August 31st, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (last session at 3:00 pm).

To make arrangements for a same-day virtual session, parents may call Hands at 1.800.668.8555 ext. 1333, starting at 9:00 am the morning of each Clinic. Learn more about Autism Virtual Consultations.
