Position Summary
The Supervised Access Program supports families in conflict by providing a safe, child-oriented, and neutral environment where the non-residential parent(s) and/or individual(s) with designated parenting time can build a relationship with children through visitations and/or exchanges, ensuring factual, written documentation is maintained for reporting through the judicial system. The Supervised Access Facilitator will monitor and document interactions between individuals with parenting time and children in a safe, neutral, and child-focused environment, in accordance with provincial guidelines and judicial requirements.

Qualifications
- One (1) year diploma in Personal Support Worker, Child and Youth Worker, Social Service Worker or Mental Health and Addictions Worker preferred.
- Related work experience is an asset
- Knowledge and experience in family conflict, family dynamics, and custody/access issues is preferred
- Excellent writing skills and ability to write observation notes
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of relevant resources and funding available to clients and their families
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates professionalism in dealing with highly confidential information and situations
- Successful applicants will be required to provide:
- Proof of eligibility to work in Canada
- A valid Ontario driver’s license and use of a reliable motor vehicle; insurability on Agency vehicle insurance policy
- Clear Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search
- Preference will be given to bilingual (French/English) candidates
