Position Summary
The Team Supervisor will oversee and provide supervision, coaching, and role modeling to health professionals who deliver services in homes, schools, Live-In Treatment Services, and/or other community settings. The Team Supervisor leads the intake process and provides direct clinical support as required. They act as a point of contact for client families following intake and support the coordination of intervention prior, during and following admission. They review and support clinical plans and discharge summaries. The Team Supervisor assists and supports HR management and team leadership; they provide direct supervision to health professionals.

Full-time contract (35 hours per week) ending June 28, 2025, with the possibility of extension
Location

Hourly Rate/Salary
Minimum $39.27 to maximum $47.78 per hour; salary commensurate with education and experience

Qualifications
- Four (4) Bachelor degree with three (3) years direct or five (5) years of related experience in Social Work, Counselling, Therapy, Psychology, Nursing or Occupational Therapy; Master’s degree with one-year of related experience preferred
- Registered as a regulated health professional in the province of Ontario and able to perform the controlled act of psychotherapy.
- Minimum four (4) years of related experience, with a minimum of two (2) years of related supervisory experience and/or demonstrated progressive responsibility
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Child and Family Services Act, and Health Care Consent Act
- Advanced crisis intervention, assessment, and care planning skills
- Familiarity with the use of standardized tools and measuring outcomes for client care
- Experience implementing therapy with children, adolescents, families, and groups inclusive to CBT-T, DBT, Brief Invention Models, Motivational Interviewing and Concurrent Disorders from a trauma informed lens
- Strong ability to navigate community partnerships and connect children, youth, and families to regional services within a continuum of care
- Strong software skills using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook)
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety, with a willingness to contribute and lead in the culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events for clients and their families/caregivers, colleagues, other community members and yourself
